Black Market Karma - The Grease Ladder - Vinyl LP
English psychedelic group Black Market Karma's newest release is their thirteenth in all - all of which have been written and produced by band leader and multi instrumentalist, Stanley Belton.
They have collaborated with Sonic Boom (Spacemen 3), The Telescopes, Les Big Byrd and The Underground Youth, and toured with The Black Angels and The Warlocks. Between 2024 and 2026 they released three albums on Fuzz Club Records: Wobble, Mellowmaker and Live at Fuzz Club Festival 2025.
"The Grease Ladder" is eleven tracks of neo psychedelia, psychedelic rock, psychedelic pop and alternative, cut to clear cobalt vinyl.
Singles "Always Faithful" and "Brother Combuster" will be released with accompanying music videos, and a month long European tour begins mid-September, finishing with a home show in London during release week.
Songs about making peace with the throbbing hum of being alive and finding your way back to a home that maybe doesn’t exist, at least not fully in this world. The navigation requires great care, as your only method of reaching it is half submerged in subterfuge and self serving plastic spectacle...
All presented through the prism of neo psychedelia and vintage pop sensibilities. Retro textures but forward thinking.
Two versions are available: one pressed onto clear cobalt vinyl, and limited to only 100 copies with our signature, numbered obi strip.
There's also a version pressed to transparent emerald vinyl, limited to 500 copies.
